In Vancouver, approximately 25% of the buildings are single-family homes. The rest are mostly large apartment complexes, smaller apartment edifices, and duplexes. About a quarter of the residences in this city have sprung up since 2000, while the bulk of the others date back to before 1960 or the 1960s era. The city predominantly offers homes with either four or more bedrooms or two-bedroom layouts. Ownership is a trend for about 60% of these homes, with the remaining 40% being rental properties.
