This area is also amenable to cycling since the bicycling network is especially well-developed. The best transportation option in Victoria Hills is often driving. It is easy to access a parking spot. However, getting around by public transit is at times challenging in this neighbourhood. Thankfully, house owners are served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most properties.


The closest supermarket in this part of Kitchener is typically only a short walk away. In addition, those who like to dine in restaurants will have a fair number of options, and residents can enjoy a few cafes as well. With regards to education, in this part of Kitchener, families will typically be able to get to daycares and primary schools by walking. However, there are no high schools in Victoria Hills.


Victoria Hills is a reasonably good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a slower-paced ambience. There are a few parks close by for residents to explore, such as Gzowski Park and Filsinger Park, and they are very well-spread out, which makes it very easy to reach them from the majority of locations within this part of the city. Most areas in this neighbourhood are quiet, as the streets are usually quite peaceful - although that is not the case near the railway line.
